Counselling South London is formed of two experienced counsellors working in smart, modern consulting rooms. We view counselling as a mainstream clinical discipline, not an alternative remedy.

Phil Clarkstone

Phil has managed and led a class-leading branch of CRUSE, a national counselling charity since 2004, overseeing the management of a large caseload of upwards of five-hundred enquiries every year . He is also a trained and practising supervisor and trainer. He is an experienced telephone counsellor and member of BACP.

Jane Sturtridge

Dip Counselling, Cert. Supervisor, MBACP

I am an experienced Humanistic counsellor and member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I also work for Cruse Bereavement Care and am an accredited bereavement counsellor and supervisor with a lot of experience working with people who have suffered the loss of babies through miscarriage and still-birth.

In my private practice I have extensive experience working with a broad range of issues. I am especially experienced in working with anxiety, depression, bereavement and eating disorders.

I would describe myself as a warm, honest and intuitive person and practitioner who is both conscientious and passionate about my work with people.
